• If you find a word that fits into three groups, it is one of the three center trio words.
• Words that don't seem to fit into multiple groups are likely the three corner words.
• Then figure out where to place them.

• Then figure out where to place them.

• Try to think of nine groups of three words.
• Words that fit into three groups belong in the six center triangles.
• Words that don't seem to fit into multiple groups are likely the three corner words.

About

Trios is a word puzzle game built around triangles of three words that share a connection.

Words are drawn from a tagged vocabulary, and pairs and trios are discovered by finding shared tags between them. Every word, tag, and connection is manually reviewed for accuracy.

Gameboards are assembled by a solver that fits trios onto the grid so each triangle has a valid shared connection, then a person curates the result for fairness and clarity before it's published.

Three boards are published daily: the Diamond (easy), Triangle (medium), and Pyramid (hard). Players can help curate by flagging bad word pairs or phrases as they play.
